After completing your studies, your first priority is to get a job that can give you a way to promising career. You start to apply for job positions and finally get a first interview call. This call for your first job interview would make you happy as well as scared. But, if you follow some basic ethics before sitting in front of an interviewer, there is nothing to worry about.

Know the Address Perfectly: Very after the interview call that you receive, find out the exact location of a company. Ask your parents and friends to let you understand the route. You can even search Google maps to hit the exact location (it really works). Moreover, know the bus routes if you will go by bus.

Research About the Company: Check the website of a company to know what does this company do. Have an overview about the history, what product and service they sell and how long they have been in the business.

Read Interview Questions: Read some possible interview questions and their answers. As you are new in the job market and have no or very little work experience, the interviewer would ask more career and education oriented questions to figure out your skills, abilities and your suitability for the job position.

Dress Code: Your first impression on a hiring manager would be your attire. Dress nicely and professionally, even you go for an interview in the evening.

For boys, wear dark color dress pant with light color dress shirt, and don't forget to wear a tie. Wear clean and polished shoes along with light perfume.

For girls, wear light color dress with minimum makeup and jewelery. Wear low heel shoes and light perfume.

Copies of Resume: It's important that you should take at least 2 copies of your CV. One for the interviewer and one for yourself to avoid mis-communication.

Don't Eat Too Much: When you eat a lot, you start to feel like lazy and sleepy. Hence, avoid eating too much food before going to an interview. Instead, have a light breakfast or lunch with fresh juice. This way you would not lose energy and would feel confident and active during the interview.

Reach Before the Given Time: Try to be at interview place few minutes before the time mentioned by your potential employer. Avoid getting late, or if you get late for any reason, inform the employer hours before the interview time.

In this post, I tried to help you to know how to get prepared for a job interview. These tips will keep you confident, energetic and motivated before, during and after the interview. You can leave a lasting impression on the interviewer, which would increase the chances of getting the job.
