I have recently been reading a book, Brand Failures: The Truth about the 100 Biggest Branding Mistakes of all Time, written by Matt Haig.

After reading half of the book, I just couldn’t stop myself to tell you how interesting yet important this book is. Matt Haig has written this book in a very interesting way, but the book is full of knowledge, especially for the professionals who are associated with marketing and branding and for the students who are studying the same subjects.

Matt Haig has divided the book into ten chapters. First chapter introduces what brand is and why brands fail. The other nine chapters cover the case studies of 100 famous brand failures of all times including top brands like Coca-Cola and McDonald’s.

What add value to this book and to your knowledge is that, he has extracted and written the lessons learned from each brand failure at the end of every case study, which makes it a must have and must read book for everyone.
